At your Wedding Reception, it is a vital part of our service to be able to play your chosen music at a volume which is; both loud enough on the dance-floor for people to make some serious shapes & party, yet at the same time, quiet enough for your guests in other parts of the room to talk without shouting or screaming. We have heard of many cheap & inexperienced DJ's who think that 'the louder it is, the better it sounds'. This is simply not true. Legislation

Due to new legislation initiated by the Health & Safety Executive in 2007, Music Entertainers have to be very careful of the sound levels they now perform at, and this should be taken into consideration before booking your DJ or Band. Our high quality digital playout has a built in limiter to assist in keeping the volume level steady.

It is also due to this legislation that you may see us taking sound level readings from various points of the room during the evening. This ensures that we are operating at a safe volume level at all times and not putting you or your guests at risk of long term hearing problems such as tinnitus. These devices are used to automatically cut the power if the volume goes over a certain threshold. As well as ruining the flow of the party atmosphere, sound limiters can also damage DJ equipment if they are triggered.
